RIP DMR

The first thing I came to know (from Ashish) when I woke up this morning was that Dennis MacAlistair Ritchie had passed away. Not an untimely death, I suppose, but still, a very sad day. He will be missed.

  1. DMR will be remembered, as one of the few, who shaped computer science.

    I got this depressing news from Facebook, where people were trying to print ‘Goodbye, World’ on facebook walls. Seemed disgusting to me. May be their intentions were good, but I didn’t like it.
